The third quarter of 2022 brought interesting trends for the top Film & Television apps on the Android platform in Egypt. Data from Sensor Tower highlights the performance of WATCH IT, ﺷﺎﻫﺪ - Shahid, Disney+, OSN+, and Viu: Dramas, TV Shows & Movies.

WATCH IT exhibited fluctuating weekly revenue, peaking at around $12.2K in early July and early August. Weekly downloads reached a high of approximately 12.1K in mid-July, while weekly active users varied, peaking at around 74.8K mid-September.

ﺷﺎﻫﺪ - Shahid saw a consistent weekly revenue, hovering around $5K, with a slight peak of $5.7K in mid-July. Weekly downloads had a notable rise in mid-September, reaching approximately 61.1K. Active users remained relatively stable, with a slight increase towards the end of the quarter, reaching around 183.6K.

Disney+ had a varied weekly revenue, peaking at $3K in mid-July. Downloads surged in early August, hitting around 35K, while active users peaked at approximately 94.5K around the same time, showing a gradual decline thereafter.

OSN+ maintained consistent weekly revenue, with a peak of $1.8K in late August. Downloads saw a high of about 33.5K in early August, and active users peaked at approximately 133.6K during the same period, followed by a gradual decline.

Viu: Dramas, TV Shows & Movies experienced a steady revenue flow, peaking at $338 in the last week of September. Downloads showed a significant increase in early September, reaching around 162.6K. Weekly active users peaked at approximately 516.5K at the end of June, followed by fluctuations throughout the quarter.
